In AVIX Resource Balance the work operations are balanced between the different workstations and internally between the operators. AVIX Resource Balance has the capability of handling multiple operators as well as man-machine operations.

AVIX visualizes (graphically and numerically) losses caused by an unbalanced workflow.
The final outcome from the software is reduced balancing losses and the possibility to create new work instructions.

Combining AVIX Resource Balance with AVIX Ergo makes is possible to apply the line balancing activity not only from a workload perspective, but also from an ergonomic perspective. Utilizing the ergonomic model REBA, you can visualize the balance result in terms of both workload (time) but also physiological stress levels.

AVIX Resource Balance uses the time analysis from AVIX Method. Production lines can be simulated with all possible data to simplify working with line balancing in a fast and easy manner. The data is linked together making sure any time changes are reflected in real time. This means you will always have up-to-date data in your line balance analysis.

Variant management

Companies without a great number of variants (product options) are rare! Using AVIX Resource Balance makes it possible to use logic rules when working with multiple variants. This makes it easy to see how different variants (product options) will impact the workload on each workstation in the workflow. It also gives the possibility to see how different product mixes will affect the line balance.

Maximum control

When you balance the workload in AVIX Resource Balance you will have full control over process steps, parts and tools. Moving process steps between workstations to even out the workload will automatically move all data linked to the process steps making the data management easy.
